You kind of look Syrian or Jordanian.

I would say you looked very typical West Med but the hooked nose and some other features give you the look that you have some Eastern Influence. I think South Spain and maybe Portugal would be places that you would fit into. It almost looks like you have some Arabid influences which is not too all uncommon for parts of Spain. That would be my conclusion.

Yes I was thinking the same thing that is why I said there is definitely an Eastern Influence somewhere with the features.

LOL. I think she says that his appearance seems to contradict what is naturally associated with being Spanish the common perception is slightly contradicted by what seems to be some Eastern influences which is not uncommon for Southern Spain but which is not something people usually associate with the average Spaniard.

I edited my initial post.. but I said that because I didn't think he would want to hear it but it was honestly my first impression.

I've seen Andalusians with his look though.. so I am going to guess he's Andalusian.

Yes I said Southern Spain as well I would not doubt if some of his ancestors are Arabs maybe even of the Turkish type although most of the Islamic influences in Spain were Moorish and Berber types. Actually recalling about what I know of the the Islam influences in Spain some were from the Levantine the major caliphates in Spain were the Cordoba and Fatimid. The Cordoba had more of an Eastern orientation later on it became more Moorish.
