Actually, it's the opposite. Australia is in 13th place which makes it less corrupt than the US which is in 16th place.

South Sudan is a sad case. They struggled for independence but what they got is a failed state and even ethnic clashes/wars didn't stop there. There are still a considerable number of South Sudanese who want to escape from South Sudan and migrate to a better country.

I, personally, consider corrupt officials to be traitors to their country (since they steal from their society and weaken that society for personal gain) and I, thus, think that they should be punished as traitors.
