Out of all the Germans I've encountered, and I've encountered a lot, I'd say the majority had medium blonde to medium brown hair with a rarer light blonde or dark brown minority.
This is one of the few I've encountered with what I consider dark brown/black hair. He also had very striking blue eyes, pictures don't do him justice

Northern Germans are as blonde as Danes, while Bavarians (and other Southern Germans) are a bit darker.

In my opinion only Northern Germans have lighter hair than Poles in generally. But Southern Germans are a bit "darker" than Poles in generally. I have been in Germany (kreis Neuwied, Westerwald). People there seem to have the same
complexion so in my southern Poland areas.

I agree that they have more light hair than us, but as a whole of Poles, we have much more lighter eyes than Germans.

I don't really know many Poles, but I think hair- and eye color from Germans and Poles are about equal. In Germany the percentage of people with light eyes is also higher than the percentage of people with light hair. So how do you think Germans have more light hair but less light eyes than Poles?
