How common is dark hair among Germans?

I don't really know many Poles, but I think hair- and eye color from Germans and Poles are about equal. In Germany the percentage of people with light eyes is also higher than the percentage of people with light hair. So how do you think Germans have more light hair but less light eyes than Poles?

Despite, we're being neighbor, I don't think we're about equal in terms of pigmentation. We have more lighter eyes than Germans probably because of higher East Europid input.

Yep, dark blonde hair as well as light brown and medium brown hair are common among them. In the South, they are slightly noticeably darker than their Northern counterpart, but not THAT much, tho.

No, but I have been to Minnesota and Wisconsin, where everyone is German and everyone is blonde.

The american midwest is not as blond as germany though most of those population is of german descended.
