Nothing could be further from the truth. There isn't any "oppression". Any of part of that system has been over and done with at least 50 years or more. Being black , especially in America gets you all kinds of perks and benefits. Thanks to affirmative action. Every company has to hire a Negro. Recently, someone did an experiment on a college application , using a lower SAT score still got them accepted as a colored applicant, while being White or Oriental did not. So this is really B.S. Negroes have the NAACP, The United Negro College Fund, and a hoopla of others on their side. Plus, most of them sponge off the government.

Even outside of the US people start to notice that for some reason blacks are almost never bad guys in Hollywood movies.

I know , and it's kind of unrealistic. Especially movies about the American South (other than Gone With The Wind) Every white Southerner is either stupid , violent, or both, and every black person is just so nice and kind and sweet and just minding their own business. That is really annoying. The Magic Negro is a trope in every movie about the South. Apparently any white Southerner just happens to be pure evil and every Black Southerner is just a perfect angel.

None. Though I have to admit, I really would not want to be a visibly Black person in the United States. They go through way too much oppression, they are put down by ethnicities across the globe, and just treated like absolute shit. I dont know if I would be able to mentally handle a life where most of the world sees me as undesirable because of my skin tone and features.

I truly feel bad for African-Americans and black people. They are isolated and treated like aliens by everyone when they are human.

The African-American experience/situation has parallels with First Nation in Canada, Aboriginals in Australia, and Maori in New Zealand.

Colonization and slavery can have much the same effects. And those peoples have still yet to fully recover themselves from said experiences.

No one would willingly choose to occupy such a stratum in society. It is not as if African-Americans, for instance, are intellectually incapable of grasping the benefits of higher socio-economic status, or so apathetic as to be content with their station in life..

If some raiding force occupied Belgium and disrupted/decimated Belgians' family units, they would partake of the same experiences as have African-Americans and Aboriginals.

The trauma of slavery and colonization is not something that can be healed in a few generations..

You mean the slavery that they themselves sold their own into?
