These numbers are wrong, buddy. You are lumping Santo Domingo with the East. The East is only 6 provinces and starts in San Pedro de Macoris. The South is composed by 10 provinces and starts in San Cristobal. Santo Domingo doesn't belong to any region in particular. It's considered a different one all alone. So in reality the eastern provinces have only 1.167,000 million people. That's about 10% of the Dominican population. Cibao and Santo Domingo together make nearly 75% of the country in the other hand.

Red is the East, gray is Santo Domingo and blue is the South.

All sources put Santo Domingo with the East, so I will stick to the official regions and not by yours

I dont think El Salvador and Panama are similar, Panama looks very indigenous mix with African and with minor European. They are on par with Peru and Bolivia in Europeaness admixture.

they look mix compared to El Guero Palma who looks Northern European shifted, those in your video would be pointed as Latino before Guero Palma is and Palma was much more poorer than them

the women would, not so much the man, but you can find very poor families like that in northern and western mexico, they are not a rarity, to me extremely poor is living in cardboard homes, you have those in colombia, the video you posted of poor colombians but not extreme poor, extreme poor live very differently, they live similar to african nations

No common everyday Dominican lumps the East with Santo Domingo or San Cristobal. San Cristobal itself is considered a southern province. Capitalenos don't consider themselves easterners but capitalenos. Those definitions you find onine are simply not accurate. Ask anyone that has lived in the Dominican Republic.
