    Not really. The only reason they do that is to provide some platform for unity. And, "British" would mean very little without the English. If you think "British Empire", it really was the English Empire.

    Not myself, anyway.

    Regardless, outside of legal contexts, nobody native to Ireland is 'British.'

    A 'none of the above' option would be nice, too, by the way.
