Erdogan just choked on a halal chicken wishbone. The Turkish intelligentsia has been following your theApricity posting history for a while now and through the "70 posts model" link has determined that you would lead Turkey to greatness as head of the Turkish republic.

You are ushered into a room with 140 other candidates from all over Turkey for the presidency. You were all chosen based on the values exhibited by your internet posting histories.

Only one lucky person will become president and bring Turkey the needed reforms for a self sustaining economy, prosperity and greatness.

A grim mustachioed Turk enters the room and gives a series of lectures on the Cyprus problem across several days. The man makes sure to shave off the program all who look out the window or pay no attention. In the end you stay among 60 candidates. The Mustachioed man has a laptop distributed to each attendant.

"You have 2 hours to solve the Cyprus problem in a maximum of 2 paragraphs. Go".

All people who consider themselves Turkish are eligible for this challenge.

Get the Israeli's to ally themselves with the Greek Cypriots and have the Kurds attack Turkey on a second front from Syria.
That may solve the problem.

There isn't going to be one. It will never work out. The only way forward is to accept some type of Bi-zonial agreement or Two state solution.

My grandfather got aimed at by a Turkish sniper in 1964 in cyprus. The sniper missed , my grandfather survived. There is no solution imo.

I don't know why Turkey doesn't annex Northern Cyprus like Russia did with Crimea.
