Her mother from what I just read was German and English ancestry. So she's those, plus Hungarian.![]()

Ah I LOVE her, I was actually debating on posting a thread about her haha. I don't know jack shit about classifications but she looks like northern european and southern european.

She looks Central European mostly.
She does look a little exotic but she could still pass for countries in Middle Europe.
And possibly France.
Alpinid with some Atlanto Med.

I agree in that she looks Central European. I also liked her in L&O.
Kinda looks like a southern european-middle eastern mix (Lebanese) to me. She doesn't look like a central-northern european mix at all.
5 Stages of Grief:
Denial: The initial stage: "It can't be happening." Maniot is on top of me.
Anger: "Why ME? It's not fair?!" (either referring to God, oneself, or Maniot perceived, rightly or wrongly, as "responsible")
Bargaining: "Just let me stay to post another day Maniot, please."
Depression: "I'm so sad, why are you picking on me Maniot?"
Acceptance: "It's going to be OK." There is always Skadi.

Looks like the Hungarian version of her mom. She's pretty

this woman is of carpathian origin
harghita is a town in romania. hargitay is hungarian form of surname meaning "from Harghita" (smth like "de harghita").
mariska, in hungarian orthography pronounced "marishka", is a slavic diminutive variation of name Maria.
There were many slavs from carpathians who settled in pannonian plain during 18th-19th century migrations, adopted hungarian language and some emigrated chiefly to usa.

Wikipedia says carpathian is a fictional race.
Mariska's just said she's half Hungarian. I think she looks like her mum but a tad more exotic
