The idea of dying without feeling loved or having someone care deeply about my absence is my greatest fear.

That the world continues to focus on things that have literally no meaning, over actual development of anything really and that the major resistance towards it, seems to move the goal post with every loss. As it stands now, humanity will probably just dive into simulation cause even life will seem too harsh and the people that opposed it, will agree with it 5 years later
