He has %1 siberian in K15,but I think this is a result of high Baltic/North European ancestry.Because of existing high ANE presence of those location,siberian compound give us a fack signal.If he had a Turkic ancestry he also should been bear some east asian signal

That's enough for him to declare as Balkan Turk I think.

If 8% is for real Turks, then 1% is good enough for Balkan Turks.

I have 0.5% so I am still not Balkan Turk.

Only recently mixed marriages can have this low Eastern Eurasian compound.

Normally, this ratio is between 3-10% in Balkan Turks.

Bulgarians are closer to other Balkan Slavs and mainland Greeks, but what I find interesting is they are closer to Italians (even Sicilians) than to non-Balkan Slavs, and closer to Iberian than to Russian.

Because Serbs, Bulgarians were part of Byzantine aristocracy, soldiery, commoners for 1000 years from 5th century A.D to 1453 A.D.

Can you imagine how many Byzantine (Greco-Italian) people mixed with Bulgarians in that period?

This sample is not typical for Bulgarians. I suspect he is Vlach. Bulgarian average is closer to Russians.
