    All of those people are pretty typical of the area.

    There are plenty of darker British/Irish people like myself.

    Plenty of western Scots are dark-haired and the physiognomy (Atlantid variants) looks more like Atlantic Facade French or Iberian than either Norwegian or German.

    The people of the British look like the people of the Low Countries, western and northern regions of Germany, Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Faroe Islands, and northern regions of France, in other words, North-West Europeans.

    There is no such thing as "Atlantic Facade"! That's a bunch of nonsense. Plenty of Western Scots have a very pale skin, I'd say with usually brown hair and blue eyes and share similarities with the Irish, Icelanders, western Norwegians than the French, let alone Iberians who are for the most not even fair-skinned, brown-eyed, brown and black-haired ( in a least a third of cases). The most eye colour in Scotland is blue! Scotland is roughly about as blue-eyed as Denmark (ScotlandDna Project 2014). The majority of Scottish are Keltic Nordid+Troender+Anglo-Saxon phenotypically.

    Ireland = 51.2%
    Denmark = 50.9%
    Scotland = 50.2%
    Britain overall = 48%
    Belgium = 28.9%
    France = 20.2%
    Spain = 11.75%

    Yes, that's exactly right. The famous English rugby player Jonny Wilkinson reminds of Frisian people.

    The truth is that genetically the people, the British look closer to, outside of the British Islands are Scandinavians.
    The National Geographic Genographic Project 2.0: Next Generation shows it pretty well by comparing genetic markers of various European populations.

    Irish genetic markers:
    [This is based on the native people of Ireland]
    79% (Great Britain & Ireland]
    11% (Scandinavia)
    6% (Southern Europe)
    4% (Western & Central Europe)

    Scottish genetic markers:
    [This based on the native population of Scotland]
    71% (Great Britain & Ireland)
    17% (Scandinavia)
    8% (Western & Central Europe)
    2% (Finland & Northern Siberia)

    English genetic markers:
    [This is based on the native population of England]
    69% (Great Britain & Ireland)
    12% (Scandinavia)
    9% (Western & Central Europe)
    5% (Southern Europe)
    2% (Eastern Europe)
    2% (Jewish Diaspora)

    Now let us compare this to some European population.

    German genetic markers:
    [This is based on the native population of Germany]
    42% (Western & Central Europe)
    16% (Eastern Europe)
    14% (Scandinavia)
    11% (Great Britain & Ireland)
    6% (Southern Europe)
    6% (Finland & Northern Siberia)
    5% (Jewish Diaspora)

    French genetic markers:
    [This is based on native French population]
    59% (Western & Central Europe)
    21% (Southern Europe)
    7% (Great Britain & Ireland)
    5% (Eastern Europe)
    3% (Jewish diaspora)
    2% (Scandinavia)
    2% (Northern Africa)

    Iberian genetic markers:
    [This is based on the native population of Spain & Portugal]
    74% (Southern Europe)
    9% (Northern Africa)
    5% (Western & Central Europe)
    5% (Jewish Diaspora
    4% (Asia Minor)
    2% (Great Britain & Ireland)

    Russian genetic markers:
    [This is based on the native population of Russia]
    59% (Eastern Europe)
    9% (Central Asia)
    8% (Finland & Northern Siberia)
    6% (Western & Central Europe)
    5% (Jewish Diaspora)
    4% (Scandinavia)
    4% (Asia Minor)
    3% (Southern Europe)
    2% (Eastern Asia)
