Sesame Street is ‘a propaganda tool for the Left’ says top author

To most people Sesame Street is a fun educational show for kids featuring lovable characters such as Ernie, Big Bird and Cookie Monster – but for author Ben Shapiro the show is a vehicle for spreading left-wing propaganda.

The U.S. Conservative writer and columnist, in his new book Primetime Propaganda, also levels criticism at other popular shows such as Friends, MASH and Happy Days for having leftist agendas.

Shapiro drew his conclusions after interviewing hundreds of industry insiders, some of whom admitted using their shows to spread secret political messages.

It's funny, though, how PC the world has gotten since I grew up, that Sesame Street episodes from when I was a kid on DVD have the label on them: WARNING: Not intended for children.

Huh? I watched them when I was a kid, and I turned out fine!

I don't understand how anyone can't see the blatant left-wing propaganda within the show. It has very biased content as does almost any type of programming. Not recognizing the bias within Seasame Street speaks more to you (addressed to nobody in particular) than it does about the show's alleged political neutrality.

That doesn't necessarily make it evil or even all bad programming. Wayward at times, though? Absolutely.

I swear, political correctness is on a whole new level in places like England. Whereas in the U.S. you don't want to be perceived to be slighting a black person in order to save face, in some parts of Europe I get the impression that one must actively seek out blacks in order to save face.

In an effort to not be "racist," anti-racists like your mother are just that (no offense). By thirsting for the presense of blacks and other non-whites, they are implicitly showing a preference for these groups over their kind, white people. I mean, if "race doesn't matter," (which is not true, of course), then why does it matter to liberal people if Sesame Street is a white suburb instead of a black ghetto/latino barrio? It's time somebody asked these types of people why they are so racist.

Most parents switch on TV for kids to calm them and to have time off parenting. Basically, they transfer parenting duties to TV programming.

Wheres among Europoid populations there's still certain ambiguity about possible past and future paths of evolution, it is clear Negroids and Mongoloids are new divergences in the tree of life. One needs to disregard all instincts telling they are not like us, to be able to integrate among them. One needs almost negate everything ones biological paths was leading. Maybe that is why so much race mixing programming is needed to achieve measly race mixing effect. But in a long run this influence may be enough to alter significantly biological future of humanity.
