Very true they don’t look like they belong from any European country very ambiguous looking, could be due to diluted blood and mixing with black slaves and native Americans.
Although there are certain individuals like Matt bomer and Sean O’Pry who look like their from the British Isles. But those are rare examples most Americans are very ambiguous looking.

In my experience, the Americans (North Americans) of British Isles descent tend to tan better than those in British Isles today. I'm not sure if they are more blond, but maybe it could be from more continental influences. Many many people, especially with self-reported studies, do not actually know their ancestry completely. Yeah they have British ancestry, but also Palatine and Dutch ancestry is often in the mix.

IKR? I've been able to tell Brits in real life because of the "haven't seen the sun in forever" vibe they have.

I still reckon, regardless of how much butthurt and controversy it might cause, that at least some Latin Americans who are considered to be 'mixed-race' of some description are really just exotic Iberian and to some extent Italian types. After all, if people like Nacho Aldeguer, Itziar Miranda, Pedro Almodovar and Almudena Grande were born on the other side of the Atlantic, rest assured they'd be classified here as Harnizos.

Well I disagree that new world whites are lighter, I think its the same. If anything Brits and Isles people appear paler to me then Americans of NW descent.
