Mexican food is nice. Mexican restaurants pop up more here in the UK and it's one of my favourite cuisines.

Sadly, we don't have many Mexican restaurants here except for few.

I'm surprised that mex food took over chicken based restaurants in the blackest region of the US.

As an anecdote, White and Black Southerners generally prefer home-cooked Southern meals over the restaurant versions of the same things.

However, when craving Mexican food, most will go to restaurants since they don't ordinarily eat at Mexican families' homes(excluding parts of Texas).
