    Default D-Day On the Agenda

According to a brief in Le Figaro

Nicolas Sarkozy and Barack Obama will journey to the beaches of Normandy:

After the G20 summit in London, and before the NATO summit in Strasbourg-Kehl, Nicolas Sarkozy will take Barack Obama to Normandy, to the landing beaches, for their first official tête-à-tête since the American president took office. This trip was not scheduled as part of the European tour that Obama will make from March 31 to April 5, but "Sarkozy is insistent and, in general, he gets what he wants," an American diplomat suggested. Even if the White House has not yet confirmed the Normandy stop on April 3, the diplomats of both countries have already "checked out" some preliminary sites in the region.

    Question: D-Day or Doomsday?
