I'm kind of bored, and I decided to open this thread to show the temperate highlands of Venezuela and Colombia.
Many people have this stereotype about ALL northern south America being all an unhealthy, hot as fuck and full of mosquitoes tropical lands, when that's not true. The Colombian Venezuelan Andes, the Sierra of Santa Marta (in Colombia), the Venezuelan coastal mountain ranges, and a mountainous massif in southeastern Venezuela (known as "El Macizo Guayanes) all have many highlands with nice temperate mountain climate, and that's what I want to show in this thread.
Since now is late, and I need to go to sleep, this is my only post for today. I will start with some nice forests and temperate landscapes in the surroundings of Caracas. Keep in mind that this is not even the Andes but the coastal mountain range of Northern Venezuela (Cordillera de la Costa) and all these landscapes are in the surroundings of Caracas, at very few miles from this city. Enjoy:
