I was just checking RISE479 2000 B.C. hungarian gedmatch sample F999944, and it showed me this:
1 Baltic 45.93
2 North_Atlantic 33.71
3 West_Med 20.35
Now for those who are unaware of history, especially Basic history I must tell you that History tells us
that: Illyrians invaded Western Balkans in 500 B.C. from Hungary, and they fought those who are called
Thracians.
Apart from historical narrative about that event, we also have a toponyms and hydronimes for example
Great Hungarian Plain is called Pannonian Plain. "Pannonian"? What do Greeks say about Pannonius?
Greeks say that Pannonius is one of the sons of Illyrius out of whom many tribes were identified as
Pannonian Illyrian Tribes, so the modern name "Pannonian Plain" means = Land of Illyrians.
So when they came down they fought Thracians and defeated them, mixed with them, then mixed
with Romans, and now from that Early result they look like this:
1 Baltic 28.79
2 North_Atlantic 25.11
3 West_Med 16.52
4 East_Med 15.27
5 West_Asian 8.96
See that TOP 3 the strongest admixture similar to Hungarian 2000 B.C? Or should I say Illyrian?
Also when you go to Modern Hungary you clearly see those people are NOT Huns but Europeans,
they might have been under foreign occupation, but name Hungary just like Bulgaria is just a name
given by occupiers.
That's why modern South Slavs in Herodotian context are Romano-Illyrian people.
Macedonians and Bulgarians would be Thraco-Roman
Albanians, Greeks would be well Greek, Thraco-Greco-Italian mix. etc..
UPDATE
in Appian's Illyrian Wars holds that Celtus was the son of Polyphemos and Galatea and the brother of Illyrius and Galas
