Of the 18 soccer players you posted 4 looked atypical and Black admixed more than the average. The rest are ok.
Heck why football teams are never that representative.
Otherwise I don't see what you're taking about this whitewash thing . If anything it's the opposite. Many people troll Algerians, Berbers etc..Like ALOT

She does. I don't know why you thumbed me down for my previous post by the way
But it is still true that when you click some thread with ''Attractive girls of Algeria'' or whatever ''People of Algeria'' thing you will still find them disproportionally selected for Europid (don't confuse with European) features and basically always ''unambiguosly white''. For some reason you'll be hard pressed to find other cases even though it is present too. Why is it so hard to admit?
Is there some racism present in Algeria?

Now, as an Algerian, and to answer your question, there is no kind of appearance-based racism in here, as you're probably aware that, the populace is really diverse. Whereas, there IS what I'd call this racial preference; as you noted: "racial selectiveness".
To give an example, Kabyle Berbers would favor having business with other Kabyles, while avoiding interactions with, say, Arabs (those are not really pure ones as they often happen to be really mixed with Berberids)
What the average Algerian would like to identify as (expectations) don't always matches what the actual majority looks like. And I personally think this is widespread across diverse and genetically undefined countries like Algeria.
So two points to remember here:
1/Algerians are extremely diverse Caucasoids (NA was subject to many many migrations, look it up if you haven't already).
2/Algerians will always try to show you their "Lighter Side", and on a side note, some will soon start to whitewash Algeria, to forge an actual identity and to escape the Arab partisans and middle east's claws (mark my words). That makes it three, but I hope I gave you a satisfying answer.
