no real 'wow factor' spectacular buildings from a skyline level, but very harmonious architecture and landscape all throughout the city .

Gothic churches are the most stunning of all European religious buildings but some large Romanesque churches run them close.

Portugal, Spain, France, Austria and Italy. Russia has a very unique and impressive style as well.

France, Italy and the German countries have beautiful architecture styles in my opinion. I like the Gothic style too. I don't like church architecture in Slavic countries, especially Russia. It reminds of Islam.

I think the style is Byzantine-influenced, which later muslim cultures adopted as well.
