Given the recent history of, say, Serbia, I might question if their 'priorities' are European. It seems to me they'll side with most anyone against the West, and did side against the West in forming the non-Aligned Movement. To the extent the British are Europeans, are the upper class British converts to Islam any less 'European' than this?

Utter idiocy. I suggest you to look up the definition of non-aligned. We did not side with anyone in the Cold War and that's why the West had to destroy Yugoslavia. We were too independent.

I agree, Europeans are an extremely diverse group. That said, when all is said and done there is still a underlying mindset that all Europeans share, and Islam is the polar opposite of that mindset.

It's not imaginary. It's a very real mindset that a Muslims can never understand. And in today's anti European globalist climate, a little European Identitarianism wouldn't hurt.
