Default Why hasn't the US recognized the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic?

They recognized Kosova which means they should also recognize Nagorno, Abkhazia and South Ossetia.

On December 10, 1991, as the Soviet Union was dissolving, a referendum held in the NKAO and the neighboring Shahumian region resulted in a declaration of independence from Azerbaijan as the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. The country remains unrecognized by any UN-member state, including Armenia. Only Transnistria, South Ossetia, and Abkhazia, UN non-members, recognize the state.
Actually, why doesn't even Armenia recognize it?

State recognition is a political game. The US (or any other state for that matter) only recognises a state if it is in its interest to do so.

They sort of want to avoid being labeled as occupants and territory grabbers. This way it does not look like that they have "conquered" the land.
I personally think most of that territory has little to do with Azerbaidjan and some sort of independence solution is most favourable.
