What about King James and all the atrocities that happened under him after he forced an Union of Crowns between Scotland and England and was the first ever King to call himself as 'King of Grat Britain'? (Remember, remember the fifth of November.... Guy Fawkes nearly blew King James 'back to his Scottish mountains.') The Scots-Irish are still occupying N.I., the Hollie Grieg scandal that shocked the world, Gordon Brown's treatment of Iceland, etc? There's Scots in the UK military forces - as well as Scottish and Welsh colonists too in the British Empire nations.

I won't post jokes back about the jocks.. although I saw a funny article in the UK media headlines today regarding Scottish accents.
