Default Epigenetics, do we inherit memories and habits genetically?

    What's your opinion?

Those who want to live, let them fight, and those who do not want to fight in this world of eternal struggle do not deserve to live.

Even if this were hard--that is how it is ! Assuredly, however, by far the harder fate is that which strikes the man who thinks he can overcome Nature, but in the last analysis only mocks her. Distress, misfortune, and diseases are her answer.

    I think it’s possible.
I remember the first time I visited my family in Alabama,
I instantly felt at home and comfortable like I had been there my whole life.
Everything felt familiar although I had never been before.

I used to have chronic Déjà vu, what's weird is onetime I even had a dream about an event that happened three days later, what's even weirder is the event was so unique and trivial; It had no real bearing on life. I am not a huge speculator on the beyond but there is definitely more to existence than what's on the surface or what can be viewed with a microscope.

Behaviors can be inherited through epigenetic mechanisms. But these basic behaviors are not memories, they are not stored in the brain.

    Maybe you’re intuitive.
A lot of the time folks like us who have a strong intuition can predict and feel things that aren’t always explainable.

If only I could have a dream about the Power Ball numbers :lol. Joking aside I am very sensitive to energies, I am the kind of person that easily see's through people; it's kind of a curse. I envy naive people. That could just be a survival mechanism though and because of experience around gangs, having law enforcement family members; I wasn't babied about the world. My grandpa who was an Arson Investigator/Firefighter for 30 years later in life worked at a mortuary and I used to go there when I was like 11 and hang out, help with menial tasks. I have observed embalming and even gone on long distance trips to pick up the departed. One time my grandpa turned the lights out on my sister in the warehouse, so hilarious . But the point being is once you see the totality of existence and learn to truly accept it, you find a weird balance of the absolute and mysteries of life. It's easy to look at things from a scientific perspective but even my most speculative and critical family members including my grandpa have experienced and seen strange things. There used to be a house where this husband murdered his entire family his wife and two maybe three kids (was decades ago) and people reported always seeing strange things around there, it was a rural house on a small hill overlooking a giant lake up here. My grandpa and grandma were driving home one night after going out to dinner and several flying orbs (UFO's) flew across the hood of his car, both of them are the two most critical people of stuff like that, but every since then their minds were a lot more opened . I have seen some crazy stuff too, but never that close; the mountains are a mundane but mysterious place. For the record, he nor I think they were ghosts or aliens, but they are there and they are something. Side note that about that house, some homeless guy was squatting there and accidentally torched it in the 90's.

    ^_^ yes you are intuitive!
    I relate completely.
I have always been able to see right through people and pick up on bad vibes easily. I became somewhat aloof because of it growing up but I’ve also established really deep connections with friends so it is both a blessing and a curse. And I am a believer in paranormal myself. I could go on and on about dreams and the deceased, and feeling their energy and the connection with reality. Most people think it’s bs but those of us that have strong intuition know it’s real. We attract them like flies.

Psychology and “Spirituality” are my biggest passions in life, taxonomy falls behind those quite a bit.

Yea same here, describes my personality well a mix of over rationality but a love for mystery, excitement and danger. I honestly used to wan't to be a prison psychologist or FBI profiler, also studying stuff like that got me out of and kept me out of trouble (also got me into marketing and management). When I am around dangerous or people who don't have a lot of empathy I can feel their emptiness it's kind of a sickening and disturbing feeling. I am blessed in that regard to have a conscious to go with intuition about people. Kinda why I hate the West Coast, people no matter their political leanings or even demeanor always ooze negativity. But you can find it everywhere just more prevalent here.
