Can we believe freely in Jesus the Saviour the Christ?

Or is there a "hidden" persecution. I know that Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven and I want to believe that. The Bible tells us that we will be persecuted for the name of the Lord. I hope the Lord wont make my Cross too heavy for me.

There is very light persecution in Europe... I wouldn´t even call it persecution, rather jokes and a bit of discrimination, nothing compared to what Christians have to suffer in islamic countries.

Hi dear fiscuscarica? Do you think Satan rules the World, do we live in the age of Satan? Do you think he persecutes Christians? I need to look it up in the Bible, but I know you are Godfearing Christian Man, So I ask you.

Yeah they suffer "discrimination" and civil rights attorneys are all over it in europe but when a european christian gets beheaded in Pakistan all you hear is crickets..

You are raising some serious questions here and I could write hours about it. I want to explain two main statements of the bible:

1. In general we have to see that both people and satan are described as evil in the bible. The human nature prior to the conversion (which takes place once you start to believe in Jesus, once you start to trust him) is evil and against God and therefore it doesn´t need a satan to have persecution of Christians and other evil things.

2. Satan is described as the god of this age. On the other hand God is still in control of everything. Many people - consciously or not - are influenced by satan. But only because God allows it - this has to do with the freedom of the will that God wants to give us.
Although people are bad on their own, satan can make them even worse. Often they don´t even know it.

Therefore I would see persecution of Christians as a mixture of satanic influence and the evil nature of humans, sometimes it´s more of this, sometimes more of that.

Hi dear Palla. dont take my words as a personal offense to your beliefs in satan. I fear God, I fear the Hell. I respect Satan because he is the fallen Angel and mightier then me. PPl also say "dont paint the devil on the wall", i take that. You know I respect you and like you. I just want to believe in Jesus Christ and freely confess it, Who believes in Jesus needs to confess it

So why god created humans after they are bad creatures and turn against him? To make his life harder or his domination sweeter?
Isn't man created as a god-like according to Bible?

I'm not a Satanist and I don't think Satan is real, I'm non-Religious.
