The largest race-mixed couples in America are between non-Hispanic Whites and Mexicans. The 2nd largest race-mixed couples in America are between White men and Asian(East and SE Asian women). Mexicans rarely mix with Blacks, and their relationship in cities like LA is bad if not worse. you are referring to Latinos not Hispanics. Most Hispanics who are generational Americans or of Spanish descent generally don't like blacks. I have seen some racewars between blacks and hispanics.

The thread is focused on Hispanics, and Brazilians aren't part of this group, but I agree with Tooting Carmen, Latin America, in general, is not a race obsessed society, at least Brazil, I didn't think much about race when growing up, it's true that we have lot's of social inequalities, which is also racial, but it's not something static/apartheid-like, there are also many working class Euro looking people, for example.

There's huge class segregation though for what I understand in every Latino country. And most of these circles are very insular to break in for outsiders. My friend was saying its much easier to achieve social mobility in America than Peru.
