Do Finns look like Swedes/Norwegians/Danes to you, or not?

Numbers 1 and 3 in the first row I would have picked out as Finns mainly because of their cheek bones. The pic with two guys last in the first row, I'd say that the guy to the left might have Finnish cheek bones but the pic is too small for me to be certain.

In the second row number 3 looks Finnish to me, I don't really know why, and number 4 because of her nose.

The others I couldn't say.

I think most look different, and I can't really explain why. However, I don't think that the differences are huge.

I need to point out the living hell the Finns has manged to make in parts of Sweden. Horrible people.

Finns burn cars? Gangrape Swedish women? Deal drugs? Form gangs? Live in the worst suburbs and participate in ruining them?


Or are you refering to the 60's-70's immigration wave which undeniably brought a lot of luckseekers and never do wellers with it? More than 95% came to work but some few came for other reasons. Most of them returned.
With more than 350 000 Finns in Sweden there must be a fair share of horrible people among them.

Under mitt allra första år som journalist, 1966, försökte jag undersöka ett påstående om att utlänningar skulle vara mer brottsliga än svenskar. Det fanns en del rykten i den riktningen, det gällde främst föreställningen att finnar var fulla och slogs med kniv kring hamnkvarteren i Stockholm.

Det fanns förvisso fulla finnar i Stockholm, men vid den här tiden var invandringen från Finland till Sverige mycket stor, vi hade högkonjunktur och arbetskraftbrist, i Finland var det arbetslöshet. Nittionio procent av alla finländare kom till Sverige för att arbeta och försörja sig. Det gjorde de också och brottsligheten bland dessa gästarbetare var mindre än bland svenskar. Det var samma förhållande med andra stora grupper av invandrare. De var här för att jobba och för att skicka hem pengar till sin familj.
Slutsatsen är mycket enkel. Vid en tid då invandringen till Sverige bestod så gott som enbart av så kallad arbetskraftsinvandring så var brottsligheten mindre bland invandrarna än bland svenskar, liksom arbetslösheten. Ett mycket enkelt samband.
