Original magyars were not whites, but eurasian mixed. Modern hungarians are whites as well and not descedants of conquerors. The situation is same in Turkey, turkish peoples are also not descedants of original turks, but most of them have middle eastern + european mixed genetic:

We examined the population structure and genetic relatedness of samples from three regions of Turkey using over 500,000 SNP genotypes. PC analysis and FRAPPE/STRUCTURE results from three regions in Turkey (Aydin, Istanbul, and Kayseri) were superimposed, without clear subpopulation structure, suggesting the selected samples were rather homogeneous. Thus, this study demonstrates admixture of Turkish people reflecting the population migration patterns."

Turks are between arabs and balkanites, hungarians are between slavs and germans.

If original Magyars had Asian mixture and they mixed with local Germanic, Slavic or Jewish people in urban areas and Magyarified them, then today's Hungarians should also have some Asian admixture. It must be like how all Turkish people have some Asian admixture.
Btw, ethnic Turks have very little Balkan admixture. We have Iranian and Native Anatolian admixture as non-Turkic ones.
