Alas, I'm already married. The deed has been done. lol
Hm. Well, I think Italian people are gruffer and not as nice as Spanish people. They are colder in the sense that they are less sensitive to other's feelings and pushier. They are more "my way or the highway" and argumentative. They tend to be brusque and impolite. And I'm not talking about my husband here, all of them are like that from my sister-in-law to the Mamina. But my experience is with Americans of Italian descent and 2 generation Criollos. I don't doubt that skews the perspective. Kinda like white Brazilians are in no way different than hispanics in behavior. Where is this cold, demure behavior? Not from Brazil!
As for cat calling? Italian dominated areas (New York) and hispanic criollo dominated areas (Miami) are both known for cat calling (lol), so yes.
Haha! XD
I agree with this. Unrelated tangent:
Spoiler!

Everything is so subjective.
I hate the colors of the city to wear, I hate them and I hate them, I can like red in others but I feel very uncomfortable if I wear a red garment.
Nor do I see many Spaniards wearing a great color except in summer with beach clothes, it should be like this in almost everyone.
I don't want to break your imagery but we are more or less kind but don't trust yourself too much, a Spaniard can leave your heart frozen in a second.

According to oral family tradition E-FT155550 comes from a deserter of Napoleon's troops (1808-1813) who stayed in Spain and changed his surname.

Bullshit.
I have many counter-examples anyway, to begin, my italian relatives that emigrated in the US.
The 2nd/third generation graduated and studied at university for the majority of them, and it has been the case of many Italo-Americans. But I know many familial stories of people that immigrated in the US, and their descendants aren't like you described.
As always you're throwing idiocies. Italians from New Jersey are fine and well integrated. Italo-Americans have brought to the US many scientists. Since several decades. One of the people in my family that emigrated there was a physicist.
If you see there are many leading scientists in laboratories/hospital unit/universities that are either Italo-Americans or people that emigrated "recently" from Italy.
