Default Is Europe doomed to be forever a pawn of Russia and America

    or maybe even China now?

The ailing EU is no help and instead of being the organisation which turned Europe away from external domination has turned us into a example of when things go wrong.
Germany, Britain and France are so-called "Great Powers" which means they have some influence in the world, but are by no means superpowers and their voice in the world is increasingly small.
Russia too, once thought to be on it's death bed has come into good health and appears to be interested in re-obtaining it's sphere of influence over Eastern Europe wherever the nations there like it or not.

China's plan seems to be to spread power by the way of all continents, with it's talk of superpowers dominating each continent (except Africa) - China gets domination of East Asia.

    "Potential superpowers"

But what of Europe? The idea seemed to be that Germany, France, Britain and the rest of the EU combined would turn the EU into a sort of confederal superpower.
Whilst a nice theory it hasn't worked out that way. The problem is that the EU tends to attempt to dominate in all areas, leading to criticism and half-hearted compromises with member states.
But without the EU all that is left in Europe are the three Great powers, the former superpowers who are increasingly being outpaced by the quickly developing nations in the rest of the world.

Without a Pan-European organisation Eastern Europe is vulnerable to Russian influence again, as is Western Europe to America's.

The EU is rotten from the core and needs a good replacement which doesn't attempt to create an Federal Europe, it is needed to protect Europe from the external forces of the rest of the world who seek to use and dominate it.

    Opinions?

In my opinion, the real tension is between USA and China (the rest are too secondary, except perhaps Russia), whose relationships are closely related to the character of the global economy. The direction of the world development depends on the outcome of this. The thing is that both of them look weary of their mutual dependency (borrower-moneylender and consumer-producer) and this is unstable as the world crisis has shown. Soon, China sure will stop being moderate with their adjacent friends. USA needs to think how to recover its influence in Eastern Asia again. As for Russia, it is clear that it will become ever less interested in the Western world as its international role is falling. But in the end Russia will have to choose. The EU has no place in this game unless the process of globalization is folded (is this possible?). China and India depend on the global market more than us, and if everything stays like this, they will win.

We need to save Europe from the external powers. We need to extremely limit immigration of non-white races or have none at all. We need to kick the U.S. out of Europe by getting rid of those army bases. It seems that those army bases are a sign of the U.S. holding power over those countries and an invasion. We need to stop it now. We need to take a stand.

The EU certainly isn't a pawn of Russia, they have a small amount of influence because they sell Europe so much gas, and Putin has shut it off before. China is by no means a superpower, but wants to be and is diligently working on aquiring as much as it can in the form of economic assets that it can use, its working on military but thats further off. The US has a massive amount of influence because it is a superpower and it the worlds only global navy, which is important. The EU is a larger market than the US but we'll see what happens.

The EU isn't actually united, the countries sometimes back down on their decisions. In many ways it's like Greece in the ancient times (Greece wasn't officially united until the Romans conquered it).

China is still a tail of the dog (US). Absolutely false system and they (on the top) know this perfectly. Russia is a zombi as for now and for rather long.
