2012 Republican presidential candidates like Rick Perry and Michele Bachmann believe the bottom 50% of income earners should pay more in taxes. What does Ron Paul think? The Young Turks host Cenk Uygur breaks it down.

50% of wage earners in the US pay ZERO income taxes. I want all taxpayers to pay much less, I want the government to be reduced by over 50%.

If any one person has to pay a tax, then all should pay at least a small tax, maybe a minimum of 1%, but a maximum of no more than 10%.

There are states with no income taxes. There are states with no sales taxes. But fully 50% of wage earners pay no federal income taxes and many of those actually get the Earned Income Credit Refund, a "refund" check sent to them even when they do not pay fed. income taxes. Pure government welfare.
