The youngest grandmaster in U.S. history, Samuel Sevian. He achieved that incredible record when he was 13 years old. Now, at age 16, Sevian won first place in American Continental Chess Championship held in Colombia.

The Chicago Blackhawks, a professional ice hockey team based in Chicago, selected 18-years old forward Andrei Altybarmakyan in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.

Professional boxer Karo Murat (Karen Muratyan) regained the title of European champion in the fight for the title, held in Dresden, Germany.

Armenians actually aren't Caucasians as they have no connection to Caucasian groups, the Armenian culture is Anatolian and not Caucasian and they don't speak a Caucasian language either.

Team representing Armenia got third place and won bronze award at the international FIRST Global Robotics Olympics competition held in Washington. 163 nations were participating in the FIRST Global. (Europe team won the first place and Poland was the second).
