National Anarchism

Recently I have been exposed to a lot of articles about National Anarchism. Via Facebook I have also tracked a lot of what Troy Southgate has to say.

However, I am having a bit of a hard time establishing what exactly this ideology entails. At the moment I have only established that they advocate the following:

1) A return to 'tribal' communities.
2) Some seem to advocate racial/ethnic separatism
3) The destruction of capitalism and other systems deemed oppressive.
4) A return to individual cultural affiliations eg Heathenry, ancestor worship etc.

Is there anyone willing to enlighten me a bit more on this phenomena? Perhaps divulge a bit of your own information?

Whitelaw had a fairly accurate swipe at the New Right/Welf on his blog a while back, which I'd recommend reading. The one positive about the NR is they actually do something, even if it is pretty nonsensical and pointless.

I'd also recommend looking up what the actual real Anarchists have to say about them too.

I've already read a little on the New Right etc And it does seem like they're doing a lot. But I just can't figure out their direction, if any.

Would you are to elaborate on that? Would not the tribalistic nature of National Anarchism result in many micro-nations?

I will elaborate.

National anarchists, like myself, believe that national anarchism augments the national struggle in which ever form that stuggle may take.

The BNP's economic policy leans towards national anarchism, as it follows the line, "worker-ownership within a capitalist system."

The game for us is to constructively subvert the nation to encourage the localisation of political and economic power and activity on the understanding that this shall always prove to be a positive dynamic.

Within that, there are those who reject the democratic system, and those, like myself, who are prepared to work with within it.

Yes they seem to be doing things but so called National Anarchism isn't really going anywhere here. Also I'm speaking purely from a local perspective, NZ things might be a little different but if it's the Australian affiliated NR group then I doubt it.

Sure, I present Nationalism and Anarchism. I Accept the Wiki definitions here though apart from the last part of the Nationalism def. That's all the elaborating I feel needs doing.

It doesn't do much good to speculate, it's even more of a fringe ideoligy than NS and even less likely to gain any major support.
