Tyson was very explosive on his prime but he would struggle against big guys, nowadays boxers are on average much bigger and heavier than back then. He also lacked stamina to be an all time great imo, if passed round 5th or 6th it is almost sure Tyson loses.
Of course those boxers you mentioned were not bums but no one dares to point them as great boxers, Spinks and Holmes were good but past their prime, there was really not much competition during the middle 80's, one of the worst decades of heavyweight boxing, there was also no fighters from Eastern Europe (there was still the USSR) and that was a big game changer in the 90's. There was a tremendous amateur boxer Teofilo Stevenson who could have been a great champion, but again Cuba was not open to professional boxing by then.
I think Klitschko is underrated, despite the bad press he was dominant for almost a decade fighting much bigger/heavier guys than Tyson ever did. I think he would keep Tyson at distance and frustrate him, also he was 2mts tall, there was a huge height difference, that is difficult for the much shorter guy.
But then again it's impossible to say for sure, boxing is not an exact science, especially in the heavyheight division all can happen in one night, not always the best boxer wins, a good punch and it's over. But for Tyson I don't see enough consistency and record vs bigger talented guys to put him as one the all time greats. One of the all time punchers yes, but yet I doubt he was a heavier puncher than for example George Foreman.
