Donald Trump has ordered the US military to remove nearly 9,500 troops from Germany in a move likely to raise concerns in Europe about the US commitment to the region.

The move would reduce US troop numbers in Germany to 25,000, compared with the 34,500 currently there, a senior US official said.

Germany is the heartland of anti-Americanism. Anti-Americanism as mainstream however only took form in the late 90's. Most news stories have a negative spin on US society, especially since Trump got elected. There are external forces at work channeling the conflict between the subconscious desire for a national identity and the need to be not Nazi at work.

The technocrats in Brussels sold the public on the EU with equal parts anti-Americanism and good old greed due to the following reasons:

1. General resentment among the former great powers of Europe (France, Germany) at their eclipse in terms of global power.

3. Unironic commies in EU who still view the world through the lense of the Soviet propaganda ministry circa 1950. Though, there seems to be trend post-Cold War of all these faggots moving into green and social democratic parties in Europe.

USA isn't guardian of NATO members but a NATO member state.

The fact the USA threatens Germany over 2% military spending is laughable

1. USA isn't leader of NATO and it can't decide the military spending of other nations

2. USA is destabilizing NATO on purpose cause it has a long term plan of leaving NATO.

3. USA is using NATO for personal gain like OIL wars and more than often puts EU states in uncomfortable position.
