Sportsmen who play in national teams and politicians are in my opinion more representative, because they are random avarage persons!

And in any case ethnic russian represent the 81% of population, it's impossible that all deputies are tatars and chuvashes!

Russia no. Nothing. There can be some deputies of Armenian or Georgian ancestry, but nothing else. The others are all Russians and most of them are Russians from an ethnic point of view.

And in any case I don't understand why Chuvashes or Tatars can't be considered Russians. These subraces are native of that country.

Russia colonized entire Siberia lol.And assimilated many different ethnic groups into their corpus,much more than the French did.Besides,even when it would be ethnically pure country,sport and politicians are not representative.Sportsmen are specialized people so certain types get omitted.

Siberia is part of Russia, it's not a colony, and its people are Russians, although they are from north eastern Asia.
And it's funny because for example in my country live several kind of subraces that are native of other countries, but nobody says that dinarids and east meds can't be considered Italians.
