Nobody would be confused as Southern European, I've been there and I can confirm, you can't confuse a southern European turist for a local, Mediterranean isn't a race, it's a sea which have divided for thousands years people and cultures.

Generally speaking no. Due to the slave trade there are some with European ancestry and it shows. A few individuals have lighter complexion and even features that can at first glance fit into Europe. There is an Algerian guy I worked with who had light skin, blond hair and blue eyes, but strangely enough had quite typical Algerian features.

that's a myth most of the european component of North africans is old (late neolithic) the rest came from morisco refugees (slaves, romans, byzantines, vandals left no traces). Also blond berbers were already described in ancient times by egyptians, greeks and romans.

Those pictures are bleached, people's faces looks like they are luminescent do to particular filters.
I've nothing against Tunisian people, but I've visited your country three times (and not only during summers when people are supposed to be tanned)....most people I've met had a brown and olive skins, they couldn't be defined white. I don't realize why you don't accept this fact, you should be proud of yourselves instead it's like you crave to be associated to White caucasian Europeans. WHY?????
