    is it blondism when you have dark hair but lighter facial hair?

    Blondism refers to hair shades ranging from pale blond to pale / light brown. Light ginger hair is usually counted as fair hair but darker reds, such as auburn, are treated as intermediary between light and dark.

    If you have blond to light brown hair you clearly exhibit blondism traits, even if your beard happens to be dark.

    I was just curious becouse my bf has golden blonde hair but on the beard, under the sun, I notice some orange reflexes. Not darker, only redder.

    From your description he clearly fits in the blondism category, unless his hair is dyed.

    It depends if you have light red hair or dark red hair or even brown hair with reddish reflexes. Brown-reddish haired people are counted as brunettes as far as I know.
