A lot of my Romanian (northern Moldavian) relatives look more Slavic than a lot of my Ukrainian ancestors.

I am not sure how slavic Southern Romanians are. The ones I've seen look very Balkan. Northern Romanians tend to look obviously Slavic admixed. Although I've seen ones from western Transylvania who approach German phenotypes.

Romanians am don't well in flatland prevent mountain which is natural home taking migrating originate south Balkans on early middle ages. Those spoke Latin language and shepherd culture is very differently than Slavic farm-warrior life.

My Romanian relatives were all ordinary farmers. I'm not sure how many Romanians are/were actually shepherds in the mountains. The south and east don't seem very mountain-y.

Someone told me I am Slavic because some of my German ancestors were from East Germany. But I think even Eastern Germans would have very insignificant Slavic dna.
