When given the opportunity, humans will always race mix, because the majority of humans only think with their penis.

Can't say I've seen any Danube German genetic results, but I've seen some Volga Germans on GEDMatch, based on them we can assume the Danubians wanted some of that exotic booty too.

I think danube swabians have such % slavic genetic than east germans. The volga german example is not really good because ethnic hungarians have tons of german genetic in general (1/3 or 1/4) unlike russians who have almost zero, so if a danube swabian mixed with a hungarian person is not necessarily means they have less german genetic.

Interesting. My German ancestors came from Neu Siwatz in what is now northern Serbia, although I can't tell exactly where that is on this map

What do you mean humans will always race mix? Europeans are the least likely to race mix of all the races. I did a DNA test through ancestry and I have 0% eastern European admixture. Many of these German communities living in central/ eastern Europe were very closed off from their neighbours and often times hostile to them politically, it's a big reason why AH was so unstable

Danube Swabians come from darkest parts of Germany, so comments here about race mixing are laughable. They generally weren't lighter than local population.
And rural Swabians didn't mix, they lived isolated in their own villages. Their admixture is post WW2, only for minority who remained and most did not.

Urban Germans in cities were usually not Swabians and they often assimilated into host society.
