I think this is a foolish foolhardy mistake.
They should educate themselves on Islam before expressing their opinions in public.

Unfortunately I know and have fellowshiped with many Christians here in the United States who also are for taking in Islamic Refugees from Syria and elsewhere. They are blinded by idealism and compassion, woefully ignorant of history, and in some select cases sadomasochistic. Sometimes, they even think that the witness of kindness will convert the Muslims i.e the 'they will know we are Christians by our love' mentality.

I don't think that people who are for accepting refugees (at least in the United States) are fully cognizant of the bad effects that their presence would mean not only on us in the present, but much more so on future generations. The advice that they should go live in Egypt under the Muslims like the Copts have had to for centuries is really good.
