Taking society as a whole, both equally. The availability and the widespreadness of that stuff via the internet creates an illusion that it's either normal or at least not anything abhorent. Collective mentality does a lot and we had this on our table many, many times before - once both the general society and the legal systems were ok with the stuff that would today be treated as, you name it, terrorism, slavery, genocide, et cetera. And before some utilitarist quotes me, saying it's a victimless crime - fuck you in advance and make the assisted suicide, grave robbing and drug distribution legal aswell.
