I love when history comes alive like this.

Just for the nostalgia I will tell the story of when I first met the Albanian chieftain at the time Kastrioti1443.

I was a new member with no more than 80 or so posts, back in 2013-2014. I stumbled on a topic about Albania which was no surprise since those topics dominated the forum at the time. I just made some remark about Albania being Muslim just off the top of my head because that's what I knew at the time, not thinking too much about it.

The next morning I woke up with 100+ notifications of mainly Kastrioti plus two more Albanians thumbing down every single post I ever made on the forum 99% of which completely unrelated to the topic in any way. This was my first meeting with the Albanian Horde of Apricity. It started a war that waged on for years and ultimately gained me moderatorship and the defeat of Kastrioti and the taming of the horde as we knew it.

The only Albanian I ever knew before these forums was Tie Domi. As a NJ Devils' fan, I wasn't particularly fond of him. He was on the NY Rangers and later Toronto Maple Leafs when they were rivals in the early 2000s but was the kind of guy you'd want on your team if you could trade for him.

Albanians are our naughty children trying to grow up.. as a nation they are infants trying to find their way. Wish they could do something with all those Muslim Albanians though.
