That's called war and war in the 16th century was brutal across the world with slavery being the norm. There is a difference between the brutality that was the norm of the 16th century and moving to a 1st World nation today with its economic opportunities and becoming a criminal.

Although I don't believe any ethnic group is inherently criminal. Cultural norms explain why some ethnic groups are more criminally oriented than others (as well as the age mean of an immigrant group). But if you want to play this game you'll lose badly.
