Lol, Yeah but I think a good chunk of people after the two decades since the film has come out have actually (believe it or not) changed their perspective on the prequels. Maybe b/c of the sequels, and a lot of disappointment, or just rewatching and realizing it wasn't that bad. I didn't care too much ab episodes 1 or 2 (although I enjoyed them, obvious nostalgia for me)... but the ultimate nostalgia for me is from episode 3 (watched it in the theatre when it came out age 5 or 6). It was overwhelmingly Star Wars territory in the Galactic City, while also the prime for the Jedi, and it explained the big question of how Anakin was turned into the dark side. I personally, don't see the prequels as bad at all, actually loved them, and being born adjacent to the films I have that personal bias.

Yes, I agree the OG trilogy will be at the top. Tbh I think in terms of overall I would put OG trilogy but b/c of my love of episode 3 I put prequels.

Yes, I heard a lot of SW geeks telling me to play SWTOR and I definitely will sometime soon. I think it is the closest thing to what I dream of: An open-world RPG star wars, free roam game. But not quite.

This one is not the MMO though. That's the single player one released in 2003.
The gameplay allows you follow the dark side or light side depending of your choices.

Graphically it's pretty outdated but the story and gameplay pace are pretty nice.

I voted for the original trilogy. Mostly because I grew up with these movies but not only: the OT defined the standard of what a Star Wars movie (or TV series, video game etc..) must be.

The prequels could have been to SW what Star Trek: the next generation has been to the Star Trek franchise: an improvement. The plot became more complex and more subtle, with a certain political mind: Palpatine, with his machiavellian tactics, tricked everyone: the Jedi, the senators, the separatist leaders, even his fellow Sithmates. The Empire didn't overthrow the Republic: the Republic became the Empire.
Too bad that the actors were poorly directed. Too many zany antics and slapstick humor involving Jar-Jar and droids ruined these movies, and the romantic scenes were really awkward and silly. I guess George Lucas had his then-teenage daughters' satisfaction in mind.

The sequels were just a pale imitation of everything that made the original trilogy's runaway success. These new movies are useless and don't add anything of value to the SW mythology. I wish they were never made.

So far, the spin-off movies and the Mandalorian have been an honest and mature tribute to the original trilogy. The cartoons are not uninteresting, but way too kid-friendly, as one would naturally expect with that kind of show.

I think for the prequels I liked the acting with the occasional humor, but again I am highly nostalgic. I just watched Episode 5 again (millionth time) felt like fresh content! Best episode along with Episode 3 ever!

The sequels, I will say it forever... will always be forgotten, you can say it's denial..... but shit is not the Star Wars I know, we know.

The Mandalorian restored my love for the real star wars, OG trilogy and Presequels which is why I am now watching it all over again.

The second game is kinda underwhelming, it was rushed for the holiday season so a lot got cut out.

Even if this were hard--that is how it is ! Assuredly, however, by far the harder fate is that which strikes the man who thinks he can overcome Nature, but in the last analysis only mocks her. Distress, misfortune, and diseases are her answer.
