In practice this 'Russian-Europe alliance' will mean German-Russian dominance on the continent with the US out of the picture. And there are about ten smaller countries that will object to either the German or Russian side of that deal.

Hevneren doesn't represent a lot of other Europeans. I think that the German- Russian dominance only exists in your head. It's still a hell of a lot better then US-UK and French dominance. A Germany cut loose from American rule behind the scenes sounds very attractive to me.

Because it's the Allied-dominated Germany that has done a lot of damage in Kosovo and is which is now bankrupting itself helping Greece.
