Yes, I see the gracil mediterranean skull and other samples have the higher occipital curve, but many nordids have it too. They (the nordids) have a other mediterranean root? Because the corded skull samples, what I saw yet, have the lower version. For example, Heydrich had a very high version of this feature or check the fig.21a and 26 in the Günther's RHPE.

And I found a good dinaroid occiput example too: he is Tankred Heim hungarian forester and he has planocciput with a very small and low curve. Check this video for a better look.

The rear portions and neck sample is interesting, but in my location the dinarids/dinaroids have backhead like the east-baltic sample and like my sample upper. The alpines here have very flat backhead with very low maximal occipital point.

Finally very interesting this complete, because the gracilmediterranid and the nordid are not tipically in my location nowadays, but earlier times rather.

Depend what Med you're talking. Atlanto-Med are tall, somewhat lighter and virile in bodytype, so in that case, they are closer to Nordoid than to Med (of Gracile (variety). The differences between Nordid and Med is that Nordids on average tend to have larger heads. The Nordid face and vault are also generally higher than those of the Mediterranid, which are only moderately high. Nordids are also typically somewhat more stark. The Nordoid occiput is not as pronounced as Med skullshape.

Corded and Battle Axe is based on the prehistoric cultures in Central and Eastern Europe which were determined by a long-narrow, narrow faced and, different from typical modern Skandonordids, quite high skull. The skull was even oftentimes higher than broad and they had extremely specialised, very progressive features. They were quite leptomorphic build and might be result of mixture and local selection in the Neolithicum. Some Nordid types, especially Eastnordid ones, are still quite close to this original type, but this people mostly expanded in all direction (Thuringia was a centre) and get lost in the mixtures which they influenced.

Thank you the answers! But I haven't got (or I don't know that have) nordid or med ancestors, thus this feature very interesting on my head.

It is ironic, and may have to do with my make up, my face straight on a tad wider at the checkbone area, my head vault is precisely Nordic, face someone long (as some know) CI 74.9.

It is ironic, and may have to do with my make up, my face straight on a tad wider at the checkbone area, my head vault is precisely Nordic, face someone long (as some know) CI 74.9.

Are you sure you measure it right?

Mordid, what would you say is the standard Polish vault? The second illustration from the left?

Yes, but it should be a bit higher.
