Turk is a culture and nationality, rather then a race, because the turkic race is central asian... originally.... turkish people are not central asians, or between 5-15%. I guess with all the russians marrying turks and assimilating in turkey it will be fully nordic in 50 years.

I agree but not just because we marry foreigners. Most of the blue eye genes come from the native Anatolian peoples. Also some Turkic tribes brought it from Balkans and North Caucasia. Like my family. They never married a foreigner. It comes from the ice age.

north caucasus, balkan is also a foreigner, and native anatolians likely had very small percent of blue eyes. they were typically east med.

Why would I be a half-breed my both sides are Laz. Turk is not a race in Turkey. Some might consider it a race but I would prefer to use Turkic for the race form.

I said they don't have blue eyes originally in their genes. Even if you count every race in Turkey, studies say blue-eyed people are somewhere between 10-15% which makes 8-12 million of Turks blue-eyed. I believe this is not something you can call "extremely rare".

ok not extermely rare, but moderately rare and atypical. and it is just not something you associate with a turkish look. thats why no one guessed him as turk, he looks like a fat russian.
