Just say Loud and clear: Irish, British and Belgians are special (light/pale) and all the rest are dark ... being skin types III (= same shitty big mass ... from Arctic Sea to Mediterranean Sea).

Balkan countries also have a minority of Eastern and Central European looking people that goes higher as you go northeast and northwest.

however, latitude is answering the question for Europe, including Romania, which indeed goes fairly North, but the gradient of phenotypes is consistent with that
