I am usually being guessed as 5-7 years younger than my age and in some extraordinary cases I have been asked for ID to enter a club etc

I do think I look younger, but it also has to do with dressing style, etc. I rarely if ever wear make up (I look my age if I do), I have a casual style, I eat and sleep well, I exercise, I try to be as happy as possible, etc...

At 44, most women have no wish to look older than they are....

I am fortunate to have a baby face.....it is a familial trait. In addition, since I am NOT a sun-worshipper in ANY way.....I have no wrinkles...not even crowsfeet!

My hands look bad.....but that's from the years of foodservice on top of healthcare.....they've been cut, burned, bruised, many many times. The rest of me looks young, though.

It was common for me to get carded for alcohol on a regular basis all the way up until about 4 years ago.

I look younger, if I shave.

If I also apply fake tan and a bit of slap, I look like a fucken pre-teen pre-op:

Seriously, I think that it has a lot to do with being mildly autistic, our faces do not move very much and we follow regular routines, which the body likes.

I have met autistic women in their 50s who look mid-thirties. Like black, some of us really don't crack.

I have had botox injections but not for a while, and I did have lasering in 2003 (in Malaysia) to remove acne scars.

If I kept up with these treatments and really worked at looking after my general health, I could probably stay 21 forever. Well, that is what I think anyway.

Why not? To desire youth and immortality is positive and life-affirming.

I was considering having my facial hair reduced/removed on a last-in first out basis, which would certainly shave off a few years, although I would have to be careful to remain within the European phenotype, and not wind up like Michael Jackson.

As one gets older it's the details and lack of definition which let one down. For men, it tends to be stray hairs and uneven skin tone, rather than actually sagging or wrinkles.

I think that the secret of staying young is to balance the endocrine system using diet and moderate exercise.

I use plain coconut oil as moisturiser for face and scalp and always always have lunch at mid-day.

These are some basic ayurvedic recommendations. I try to avoid foods which would aggravate the doshas.

My drug of choice is morphine, which, along with all the other opiates, is known to retard the ageing process and actually extend life.

Opiate addicts often have poor teeth from neglect and 'cotton-mouth' (dry mouth) which allows bacteria to rot the teeth and gums, but their skin is often preternaturally youthful, but I enjoy tobacco and coffee and other things which should really be ageing me, but it doesn't seem to happen to me.

My top tip is to eat lunch at mid-day, like a peasant, and have dinner at sun-down.

I think that people age prematurely because they keep bad irregular habits.

A man who enjoys a Martini at 7pm everyday is not really doing himself a disservice because he has regularity. So bad habits are not so bad if kept regularly.

I also avoid chilli, potato and tomato, the nightshades, which are frightfully addictive, and not real food at all. Also to be avoided are the allium family, unless used as medicine. The restaurant obsession with nightshade and allium (garlic, onion and chives etc.) comes from their addictive thirst and appetite-inducing properties. Think of bruschetta as the perfect addictive appetiser.

I am starting to practise facial exercises:

I have met the teacher, and yes, she looks marvellous for 82+

    Baby-faced = younger.

Now if the question was "Do you act your age?" Well, Aemma might answer that a bit differently than I.

The same happened to me when I was exactly 30, I was with a younger friend in Helsinki and we both got asked for IDs. When the bouncer figured out I was born in '78, he exclaimed "Perkele" or something like that

One of life's bitches is that foundation always ages, leaving fake-tan, and mattifying powders and bases as the only option, and every year it gets harder and harder...

Applying DHA (dihydroxyacetone) fake tan to the face has been a win for me the past few years, avoiding the eye and undereye areas and the hairlines, and a tiny line of concealer to the inner and outer corners of the eye and the edge of the dark circle.

Nothing pearlescent, nothing metallic, no unnatural shades, no problem and this:

which now comes in a wider variety of shades which work for those grey/blue/green/red areas around the eye.

Also the 'milk line' on the top lip should be highlighted:

    Observe:

    Invisible.

I think i look my age, but i have to notice that some high school girls today look older than me, probably because of dress style and lot of make up. They are friends of my sister and i'm always surprised when i see them. On the other hand, my sister who is 17 looks like 13.
